Procedures to Configure and Print Tractor Manuals 

The examples used in this document are for a Low Profile tractor with a Perkins Diesel engine. The steps to follow are the same for all tractors. 

As of 8/7/2008 manuals only for Low Profile, Standard  and HTWV tractors are available for printing through the web site. 
Internet Explorer 5.0 / Netscape 4.0 or higher  is required to properly print the manual at this time. 
Adobe Acrobat Reader is also required in order to view and print the PDF files for portions of the manual. 
WinZip or another similar file is necessary to unzip these files. 
You will also need the "Bill Of Material" in order to make the correct selections.

On this page you have two choices. The first is to enter your serial number . This choice will compile your manual and will only require printing. The second is Submit to Configure the Tractor button
Click this button to begin configuring your tractor.

1. Select and click on the tractor you want to configure.
2. Next select and click on the engine.
3. This next step provides a drop-down list to select the draw bar. This selection also displays the rear axle options available for the weight selected (i.e. 5000 lbs. Single Wheel; 5000 lbs. Dual Wheel; etc.). Your selection here affects other selections and options available for your tractor.
4. Select steer system (power or manual)
5. Select the brake system for the steer axle.
6. Select the type of rear axle.
7. Select the rear brake system.
8. Select the axle gear ratio.

                Items 6 through 9 will not apply to the following tractor models: 
                HKA, HKE, HTW. These are preset for current configuration limits.


Next, you are taken to another page that display's the selections you have made. Review this information and if these items are correct, you are ready for the next phase.

1. At the top of this page is a selection bar. Select and click on Service button.

2. This will open a second group of selections. Click on Print Trans. button to open a PDF file for the Transmission portion of the Maintenance Manual. Also click the Print Engine button to open a PDF file for the Engine portion. Go to File, Print to print these portions.

3. For HTW click on Print Spicer Axle button to open a Zip file. (This requires WinZip to open this PDF file.). Go to File, Print to print this portion.

4. For the HKE click on Print SRE (ProBit) button to open a PDF file for the SRE controller. Go to File, Pint to print this portion.

Warning: These files are large and will take a considerable amount of time to process and print.

5. Select and click on Print Manual button. This opens a second page to allow selection of options for your tractor. Checked Items will insert diagrams of the parts into the Parts Manual portion of your document.

6. After selecting the Options, at the bottom of the page is a section for tractor data to be included on the cover page. Insert this data and click on Compose Manual.

7. Select File, Print to print this portion. Once all portions are printed, assemble them into one book.

Your manual is now complete and ready to use. This process appears lengthy but after a few times, this becomes easy to use. In the event you experience difficulties, please contact the following persons for assistance: 913-342-5650
